CLASSES

One of Groundworks’ core mission elements is to provide accessible education for all ages in Tucson. This includes classes, workshops, job training, lessons, and more. Some of the educational programming that we offer is ongoing and some is date-specific. Our educational initiative has worked with youth as young as 4 years old as well as teenagers and adults. To promote accessibility, scholarships are available for any of our educational programs to provide assistance to those who are otherwise unable to afford to take a class or workshop.

CHECK OUT OUR NEWEST WORKSHOPS

In this workshop, participants will participate in an art-making practice that emphasizes being present and in a "flow" state. We will overcome art-related fears by creating without judgment or plans, simply by setting an intention and allowing ourselves to create without overthinking. The workshop will also include free-flow writing and group discussions to reflect on the art created together

This workshop is a continuation of the "How to Draw Stick Figures" workshop and for anyone who believes they can't draw, or is afraid of drawing. Participants will learn the fundamentals of drawing while facing their fears and unlearning misconceptions. In each session, we will focus on one particular drawing fundamental and how to approach it for the first time.
