Early 2022, the U.S. Air Force announced SUA Optimization of New Mexico and Arizona - a proposal to severely escalate training over the most biodiverse region of the continental United States, where military air maneuvers especially harm conservation areas and Tribal Lands.

In solidarity for peaceful skies and equitable stewardship of the region, the Peaceful Sky Benefit presented 4 events featuring local and touring musicians at different Tucson venues 2/19-22/2023.

The events substantially increased public awareness of the dangers and neglect posed by U.S. Air Force SUA Optimization of New Mexico and Arizona.
